HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 6 will go on sale in the United States in "early July," through Amazon. The phone will cost $229, but only the Matte Black and Silver colors will be available at first. The Tempered Blue and Copper models will arrive later this summer.
If you need a refresher, the Nokia 6 has a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 3,000mAh battery, and a 5.5" IPS 1080p display. The phone was updated to Android 7.1.1 back in April, so I assume the US model will ship with that version. The US variant will have the same band compatibility as the existing models:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
WCDMA: Band 1, 2, 4, 5, 8
LTE: Band 2, 3, 4, 7, 12/17, 28, 38
You'll likely get the best performance on T-Mobile, especially as Band 12 is supported. Only partial support for LTE on AT&T is present, and the phone won't work at all on our CDMA carriers like Sprint and Verizon.
